Investigate, Collaborate, Advocate, Rehabilitate, and Accommodate are the pillars that guide my work with individuals experiencing chronic illness. It is essential that individuals are connected to a team of caring professionals so that they can navigate their health struggles more effectively. Psychotherapy and counselling can help you identify your care needs, your resources, and the professionals in your community who will support you. It can improve your self-advocacy skills while working with multiple care provides, workplaces, or school. There are strategies to support you in regulating feelings of overwhelm and disappointment. Working with a Psychotherapist can help you to communicate your preferences to loved ones with kindness. And most importantly, the therapy hour is a devoted time and space where you discover your inner strength and resilience to get through it all.

I offer psychotherapy that is evidence-informed and client-centred. I have a Masters in Social Work from the University of Toronto and previous experience in hospitals and community mental health agencies. For more information about my qualifications please check out my About Me page.

At this time, I am focusing on providing individual psychotherapy to Adults over the age of 18.

Due to the limits of service within my private practice, I will refer to complimentary or more intensive supports, when I am unable to provide counselling in an efficient or timely way.

I welcome LGBTQ+ folks

Land Acknowledgment: The city of Guelph stands on and is currently occupying the ancestral lands of the Attawandaron/Chonnonton, the Anishinaabe, and Haudenosaunee peoples and the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. Colonialism is a current ongoing process that continues to impact indigenous people of Guelph and throughout Canada especially in regards to ongoing trauma and wellbeing. Acknowledging the land is the beginning. As a mental health clinician I am committed to decolonizing my practice through learning, consultation, along with creating and sharing low-barrier services.
